A land has a higher market value after a dwelling house has been built on it. Often, in addition to the option contract, an overspend agreement would be negotiated, so that if the land were to appreciate significantly after the land had evolved, the seller could, once completed, obtain an additional payment calculated on the added value. If the share price rises to more than $65, called in-the-money, the buyer calls the seller`s shares and buys them for $65. The call buyer can also sell the options if the purchase of the shares is not the desired result. Call option contracts are for investors who wish to acquire the right to purchase an asset at the exercise price. The buyer must pay the premium in advance when the contract is concluded. As long as the market is in favor of the buyer, they can use the potential profits. Buyers buy calls if they think the price of a particular asset will go up and sell if they think it will go down. In the financial and business environment, there are several definitions for an option agreement. As a general rule, an option agreement is an agreement between two individuals, a company or a combination of the two, which defines the conditions for each party. An option contract contains conditions indicating the strike price, the underlying safety and the expiry date.
Typically, a contract consists of 100 shares (although it can be adapted for special dividends, mergers or share fractions). If you wanted to sell your property on the market during a risky period and a developer came, asked you if you wanted to sign an option contract, it would guarantee a potential sale and also relieve some stress for the potential buyer. Since it is worth $100 per share, you can sell your new stock on the market for $10,000. Your profit would be $2,050, as you would have to take into account the original contract of $450 ($10,000 – $7,500 – $450 USD – $2,050). It was assumed that option contracts could contribute to the construction of open market roads without resorting to an important area, since the road company could enter into option contracts with many landowners and conclude the purchase of parcels including the adjacent route necessary for the construction of the road.  Buyers of put options speculate on the decline in the price of the underlying stock or the underlying index and have the right to sell shares at the exercise price of the contract. If the share price falls below the exercise price before the expiry of the exercise price, the buyer can either assign the seller shares for sale at exercise prices or sell the contract if shares are not held in the portfolio. Sale option contracts allow the buyer to sell an asset at the agreed strike price, which is specified in a contract.
Their risk lies in the premium paid, but the profit potential can be high (because it depends on the difference between the asset price and the exercise price). This means that if the spot price is less than the strike price, the contract is executed and the buyer is considered “in the money”. Otherwise, the contract expires and the seller collects the premium paid. There are standardized contracts that buyers can buy on the stock markets – they are processed by a clearing house, and the processing of options is guaranteed.
